Sustainable dividend investing in European enterprises

Our vision

Sustainable Dividends was founded from the conviction that sustainability and return do not exclude each other, but rather reinforce each other when they are approached in a rational way. We believe that a future-proof Europe is built by enterprises that handle capital efficiently, take responsibility within their sector and are able to structurally create value for both shareholders and society.

Our vision — Make a future-proof Europe — translates into an economic approach to sustainable investing. Not as an ideological starting point, but as an analysis of structural changes within the European economy. Sectors such as energy, digitalization, healthcare and infrastructure undergo fundamental transitions, and enterprises that take a strong position within these are often better prepared for the long term.

Within this context we focus on European companies with predictable cash flows, growing dividends and a solid balance sheet. We do not see dividend as a goal in itself, but as a signal of financial discipline and sustainable value creation. By combining valuation discipline with integrated ESG analysis, we aim for a portfolio that brings together stability and growth.

We consciously look further than short-term developments. Our focus lies on enterprises that can create value over multiple years and contribute to a resilient European economy. This vision forms the basis of our bottom-up investment strategy, in which individual companies are central and sector distribution is the result of selection — not the starting point.

Our philosophy

The philosophy of Sustainable Dividends is based on the conviction that sustainable value creation arises where financial discipline, long-term thinking and economic reality come together. We approach investing not as following market fluctuations, but as carefully selecting enterprises that can structurally create value within a changing Europe.

Dividend forms within our approach a signal of quality. Not as a goal in itself, but as the result of strong cash flows, sensible capital management and a robust business model. Companies that can consistently grow their dividend often have a balance between stability and innovation — a combination that is essential for long-term value development.

We do not see sustainability as a separate theme, but as an integral part of analysis and risk management. Enterprises that respond to structural economic transitions, demonstrate responsible governance and handle resources efficiently are in our conviction better positioned for the future. By integrating ESG factors into our analysis, we aim for a portfolio that is not only financially attractive, but also remains resilient within a changing world.

Our philosophy translates into a consistent approach in which valuation discipline, fundamental analysis and focus are central. We avoid short-term decisions and focus on enterprises that can create value over multiple years — with the goal of future-proof return for our investors.

Structure and Governance

Sustainable Dividends is set up with a clear governance structure in which responsibilities are consciously separated. This setup ensures transparency towards investors and supports professional and independent management of the fund.

Within this structure Sustainable Dividends B.V. fulfills the role of fund manager and is responsible for the investment policy, analysis and portfolio management. At the same time we work together with independent parties for administration, custody of assets and supervision. Through this division of roles a solid organizational framework arises in which interests are carefully safeguarded.

The legal ownership of the fund assets is placed in an independent foundation, while specialized external parties provide administration and custody of the securities and liquid assets. In addition, an advisory board supports the strategic development of the fund and contributes to balanced governance.

This structure ensures that investors can rely on a clear separation between management, supervision and execution — an important foundation for long-term stability.
